Raymon W. Empereur is a retired public heath and non-profit executive with over 30 years of combined experience as an executive director/public heath administrator for six local public health departments in Northern Illinois and as the non-profit director of the Rockford Regional Health Council for seven years.

In 2017, Mr. Empereur received training from the Climate Reality Project to become a member of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps and is working with two other retired public health executives in spreading the word about the current climate crisis, and in working to create a local chapter of the Climate Reality Project.

Founded and chaired by Nobel Laureate and former US Vice President Al Gore, The Climate Reality Project is dedicated to catalyzing a global solution to the climate crisis by making urgent action a necessity across every level of society and in every community.
